Paycheck Calculator
Quickly estimate your gross paycheck.
This calculator estimates gross pay before taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and other deductions.
How to use the Paycheck Calculator
Use the Paycheck Calculator to estimate gross earnings from your hourly rate, regular hours, and overtime. It is useful for checking a weekly paycheck, comparing work schedules, or estimating how extra overtime changes gross pay.
How the calculation works
Regular pay = hourly rate × regular hours. Overtime pay = hourly rate × overtime multiplier × overtime hours. Gross pay is the sum of regular and overtime pay.
At $20 per hour for 40 regular hours plus 5 overtime hours at 1.5×, regular pay is $800 and overtime pay is $150, for $950 in gross pay before taxes and deductions.
